Carrion Vine Seed Pods

In tonight's episode of Encounters, the party is asked to act as bodyguards for a skilled and useful but easily distracted and very vulnerable elf wizard. As the elf searches for herbal medicines, she is attacked by the bloodthirsty seed pods of a carrion vine. I imagine them as watermelon-colored chain chomps.
