Aberrant Ceramics is the ceramic artwork of Aaron Nosheny.

I work in the medium of stoneware clay and make hand-built pottery, primitive sculpture, hamsas, and a variety of other forms. My work celebrates and pushes the plasticity of the medium. The content of the work follows an inner landscape of biological obsessions, psychic damage, and bouncy cartoon animals.

Dumped in a Pile

I recently left a large group of clay objects intended to be D&D miniatures on the kiln shelf. After firing, this is how they were left on the shelf: dumped in a pile. Nothing was broken, but it's still offensive to me.

Each one of them has a base, as illustrated by the orc figure below. How fucking difficult can it be to set a figure with a base on its fucking base?
