ceramicist and potter in Tucson, Arizona.
I work in the medium of stoneware clay and make hand-built pottery, sculpture, hamsas, ornaments, masks, and a variety of other forms.
Self-taught artist on the autism spectrum. I like monsters, insects, weird animals, body horror, horror comedy, Halloween decorations, fast food mascots, kitsch – and all of these creep into my work, but there’s really no overarching theme. I’m just frantically birthing as many clay monstrosities out into the world as I can until I’m no longer able to do so.
This blog has served as a record of my ceramic output since 2006.

Down Down to Goblin Town
I am DMing the fourth season of D&D Encounters and I wanted to make as many of the miniatures as possible. These are goblins holding such weapons as scissors, a hammer, and a large, joint-like object which would be a javelin of some sort. Below is the universal soundtrack to any scene involving goblins, although the goblins from the Rankin-Bass cartoon of The Hobbit are much more menacing (which makes sense because goblin was apparently Bilbo's own term for an orc). I imagine them more like the screaming, knife-wielding jungle people in Diablo 2.
