Big Spiky Pot

This is a commissioned spiky pot, based on the Mother's Day Spiky Pot, but larger.






















The design of the face is inspired by this embroidered apron from the Indian state of Sikkim.

I recycled spare doll face molds from the Baby Eater Pot in this way:



Raku Brains

Yesterday I went to a raku firing at the pottery studio.  I fired two clay brains.

This is the brain glowing eerily in the gas kiln:
